WHAT’s “EXOTIC” LEATHER MEANS?

What's "EXOTIC" leather? Let's go a little deeper with the exotic leather. Before getting through it, should discuss the meaning of "EXOTIC" first.

I have searched for the "EXOTIC" meaning, there are used a lot in different terms but in general, in my understanding, it means, "exaggerated beauty" in positive.

When I was a university student of art, one of my favorite subjects is "History of art", the exotic in ancient painting means, the imagination of the artist who thinks of a beautiful woman in a faraway land. Mostly, the artist is European. Therefore, "the beautiful woman in a faraway land" in the painting majority means Egyptian woman.

What've people think of Egypt, for me, I think of their "GOD". For example, Anubis, Sobek, Taweret, and Amun, their appearance are combined with each kind of animals such as black dog, crocodile, hippopotamus, and snake.

From this, I just figure out the meaning of "EXOTIC" leather. Personally, I think the exotic leather background came from what I mentioned earlier with the reference. Consequently, the "EXOTIC" leather should be the leather from an ancient animal such as Aligator, Crocodile, Snake, Stingray and other reptiles/lizards with an "exaggerated beauty" look. I didn't talk about hippopotamus leather or dog skin because I guess, it is hard to find in the market, isn't it? Also, the some kind of the exotic skin might not meet the regulation in some countries. If I think of many reasons, I might don't want to get the luxury exotic leather handbag. However, my emotional side is much more enormous than my reason side. How can I deny the "exaggerated beauty" with seem to have one only and unique pattern like that? Hence, if someone gives me that, I will not hesitate to grab it quickly! do you? You might have a doubt, then If you own them, how to maintain or clean them well? This should be the next topic, for sure!
